- As far as I can tell this site doesn't exist yet. But I did find
the Pacific Disaster Center (PDC)
which states:
"In particular, the PDC serves as a model for the Global Disaster
Information Network (GDIN), and the National Disaster Information Network
(NDIN) initiatives proposed by Vice President Gore."

Peter Ward
- A Geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park,
California, has been working on a feasibility study of a Global
Disaster Information Network requested by Vice President Gore and is
Chairman of a Working Group on Natural Disaster Information Systems
under the Subcommittee on Natural Disaster Reduction under the
Committee on Environment and Natural Resources of the National Science
and Technology Council.
